Well Hello again everyone!!

If you have never read any of my blogs before, in my last one I mentioned I was auditioning for star search Northern Irelands biggest talent search and winner of a New York award, run by Citybeat and the fantastic Broadcaster Stuart Robinson who really supports Northern Irish talent.. Britains got talent dosen't come here...X factor stopped holding auditions here so we needed a platform badly especially for older ones and for the first time ever it has a 17-25 category which I am in. I went to the auditions with the hope to have some fun and sing good enough to get through the audition. I sang acapella as it was required and the song I chose was 'over the rainbow' I did a verse and a chorus in the theatre room and got good comments, I recieved a phonecall the Friday after asking me to come down on Monday -May day to Carrickfergus by the seaside haha to sing and I chose 'Angel' by Sarah MC Glauchlin. My mum, my mums freind, my sister and her fiance all came to support and we met people from the previous round again with her daughter in the younger catergory and I had her full support as she hugged me coming of stage haha and family freinds turned up for the fair and listened in. It was a great afternoon, bit cold but sunny on the weather front bt I had great fun. If Im honest I was didssapointed in myself, I forgot a couple of words in the song- I just blanked and then covered it by singing on and 'oohing' lol before jumping back in again, I was nerveous, their was around 5,000 people plus everyone listening to citybeat radio as it was on air but had fun and got excellent comments form the judges, an interview for a newspaper, photographs done and won a place in my section...so next is public vote and semi final:) I've had so much fun so far I want to go on and perform more, so PLEASE PLEASE vote for me when I get details up:) It would be so appreciated, you can text or do it online or ring:) Thanks for reading another long blog!!(well short for me actually) and keep safe and keep singing!!
