I actually visited TNGS offices today and met Jen in person. She introduced me to a co-worker of hers as "the winner of the "most original" category" in their contest. So, I'm pretty sure we can claim our respective victories! :-)

 

I'm in the process of recording my songs in the studio. It's going to be at least 8 songs...I'm on the fence about the last one. As of Friday I've been in talks with a singer. She seems very interested. When the recording is complete, I plan on putting it up for free download and streaming. So, just keep an eye out. I'm going to announce it everywhere. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but neither you nor I are finalists in this contest. We're more than that - we're winners! English is my 2nd language, but "finalist" still sounded funny to me considering we both won. I looked it up, and in fact, a finalist is a contender for the final prize, as yet undecided. But, this contest is over, and we're both winners, so we're not finalists.  *phew!*  Sorry for the tome. I'm kind of anal about grammar and usage.
