Choose any song, any artist, any genre. Unlimited entries!!!

This contest is open to males, females, and groups of all ages from anywhere in the world, who are registered users of TheNextGreatSinger.com. If you are not currently registered, you must set up an account with TheNextGreatSinger.com in order to participate. TheNextGreatSinger.com is a 100% free site and there is absolutely no cost to participate in this or any other contest on our site. Additional restrictions may apply.

To enter, contestants must submit a minimum of one (1) entry that conforms to the unique rules of this contest. Entries that violate any rule may be removed and disqualified without notice. Should this occur, it is the responsibility of the contestant to submit a new entry before the expiration of the submission period. You may submit as many entries as you would like.

All videos must be made specifically for this contest. Each video should include an introduction that includes your name, the songs name and original artist, as well as stating that this video is for the "Winter Cover Song Contest".

All entries must consist of media that is in a file type supported by TheNextGreatSinger.com uploader. These files must be 100MB or smaller. Supported file formats include .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, .3gp, and .3g2. You may embed a video from YouTube for this contest, just make sure your introduction is included on your video. All entries must be received through TheNextGreatSinger.com during the valid submission period(s), which may be extended if an insufficient number of entries are received. All entries must be the creation and/or property of the submitting contestant. Entries must not contain any nudity, depictions of violence, profanity, or be obscene, lewd, discriminatory, or threatening in any way.

TheNextGreatSinger.com assumes no responsibility for possible fraud committed by any contestant. While every effort is made to ensure that all submitted entries are actually created by their respective contestants, TheNextGreatSinger.com cannot be held liable for actions on the part of the users. TheNextGreatSinger.com reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry at any time at its discretion.

During the contest's voting period, users of TheNextGreatSinger.com may be able to vote on entries to help select the winner(s). TheNextGreatSinger.com reserves the right to disqualify or modify the standings of any entries that violate the rules at its own discretion. Regardless of performance, all contestants are eligible for no more than one (1) prize per contest.

TheNextGreatSinger.com reserves the right to make the final decision as to which contestant(s), if any, will receive a prize. The chosen recipient(s) will be contacted within 10 business days of the contest winner announcement. Cash prizes will be sent only via PayPal. Cash prizes will not be mailed. TheNextGreatSinger.com is not responsible or liable for any prizes that are delayed, damaged, lost, or stolen, nor are there any guarantees or warranties regarding the quality or value of these prizes. Prizes are non-transferable. All federal, state, and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the recipient(s). International recipients are responsible for their own local tariffs and customs duties. TheNextGreatSinger.com is not liable for the value added tax, however it will insure the package and pay for the shipping. Recipients will be provided with tracking information. All cash prizes are in US dollars, unless otherwise stated.

By entering this contest, all contestants must affirm to have read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of TheNextGreatSinger.com, the official contest rules, and the decisions of the judges and contest administrators.

Limitations of Liability: TheNextGreatSinger.com and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries or mail which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof. TheNextGreatSinger.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

Release of Liability: By participating, contestants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless TheNextGreatSinger.com and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by the contestants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this contest, including without limitation, claims of copyright infringement, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any contest-related activity or participation in this contest.

The user retains the rights to all of his or her media, and by submitting, grants permission to TheNextGreatSinger.com to display or use in any promotional material.

All entries must feature only one (1) contestant singing. All entries must be performed in English. Lip syncing, overdubs, and music videos are not permitted.

Winter Cover Song Contest: Videos may be uploaded for this contest from October 28, 2011 (12:00AM ET) through February 29, 2012 (11:59PM ET). All videos must be uploaded directly to TheNextGreatSinger.com and labeled with the participants name followed by the contest title. For example, your title should look like this “Your Name: Winter Cover Song Contest”. Failure to label your contest video correctly will forfeit your entry.

Prizes
1st Prize: $100 USD plus front page banner, interview and featured profile

3rd Prize: $20 USD plus featured profile
