How to join The Next Great Singer Love Song Contest 2011
To join in this year's Love Song Contest you will need to be a member of TNGS. To become a member, sign up via www.thenextgreatsinger.com. Sign up is free and made easy by using either your facebook, google, or yahoo accounts.
1. Choose your favorite love song, any style (country, folk, r&b, rap, metal, punk, rock, a capella, jazz, blues, etc..), version, or write your own song or arrangement.
2. Record yourself singing your selected song using your microphone and camera. Do not use any recording application from an external karaoke website to record your entry.
3. Upload your video recording to The Next Great Singer. Uploaded videos should be 100MB or less in .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, .3gp, and .3g2 file formats. Embedded videos from external sites (youtube, facebook, vimeo, etc..) will not be accepted for this contest.
4. Before your performance, you should offer a brief introduction with your name, song name, and state that the video is for "The Next Great Singer's Love Song Contest 2011".
5. After you upload your video entry, make sure you label your entry as "Your Name: Love Song Contest 2011". (example... Starmaker: Love Song Contest 2011)
Judging
You may submit videos until 11:59pm, Pacific Time, on March 1st. You may enter as many videos as you would like.
Winners will be announced by Friday, March 18, 2011
Member comments and star ratings as well as the TNGS judging panel will decide on three winners per category.
Categories and Criteria
This contest will feature one category: Best Singing Performance - song choice, singing ability, creativity, quality of sound/video, etc.
Singers face must be shown at all times.
Lip syncing and overdubs on prerecorded songs are prohibited.
Prizes
1st Place: $50
2nd Place: $25
3rd Place: $15
***TIPS***
Be sure that you prepare and practice your song before you record it. After recording, review your video to ensure it is exactly how you would like it.
This is a great opportunity for everyone to get into the Valentine's Day spirit and create a truly unique video to share on The Next Great Singer. Good Luck!

It wasn't removed. Make sure you scroll through the pages. There are over 70 videos. I just saw yours on page two....

If your video was not labeled correctly it will not show up. Make sure the title of your video is "Your Name: Love Song Contest 2011".
You can change the video's name by going to your video's page and then click on the "Options" drop down menu. Click on "Edit Video" and you can then edit your video title.
